Congratulations to Cedric Snethlage and Kristopher Plambeck on their Nature Medicine publication!
Cedric Snethlage (Professional Science Master/ Stem Cell Science 2015) and Kristopher Plambeck (Professional Science Master/Stem Cell Science 2014 and CIRM Bridges fellowship recipient ) are two of the co-authors of “β-2-microglobulin is a Systematic Pro-Aging Factor that Impairs Cognitive Function and Neurogenesis” published in Nature Medicine.
(L-R) CIRM Director Dr. Carmen Domingo, Cedric Snethlage, PSM Director Dr. Lily Chen and Dr. Saul Villeda (UCSF).
It is the second Nature Medicine paper by Kristopher Plambeck, after a highly publicizing 'young blood, old mice' work in Dr. Villeda Lab at UCSF (Science Magazine 2014 Breakthrough of the Year runner up).
