Congratulations to our first cohort class (entered SFSU in August 2010) which achieved a 100% degree completion rate in the Master of Science in Biomedical Science program.

Ms. Navdeep Grewal, a PSM-Biotechnology student, completed her master's project "Evaluation of QIAGEN's New Products with the Recent Acquisition of SABiosciences" at Qiagen (USA) on May 4, 2012.
Ms. Constance Chow, a PSM-Biotechnology student, completed her master's project "Evaluation of Early Banking in the ClonePix FL Cell Line Development Protocol" at MedImmune (Santa Clara, CA) on May 9, 2012.
Ms. Samantha Kubeck, a PSM-Biotechnology student and a NSF Science Masters Program scholarship fellow, completed her master’s project “Lotions as New Models for PCR Inhibition” conducted at Life Technologies (Foster City, CA) on November 18, 2011.
Ms. Casey Rene Haynes, a PSM-Stem Cell Science student and a NSF Science Masters Program scholarship fellow, completed her master’s project “Practical Aspects: Stem Cell Based Biotech” at BetaStem Therapeutics Inc. (San Francisco, CA) on December 7, 2011.
Mr. Adam Christopher Harvey, a PSM-Biotechnology student and a NSF Science Masters Program scholarship fellow, completed his master’s project “Proteomic Analysis of Neuroregenerative Mesenchymal Stem Cell-Derived Extracellular Matrix” at SanBio Inc. (Mountain View, CA) on December 8, 2011.
Ms. Chanawan (Joy) Chananukul, a PSM-Stem Cell Science student and a California Institute of Regenerative Medicine-funded Bridge to Stem Cell Research trainee program, completed her master’s project “Development of Ex Vivo Expanded Megakaryocyte Progenitors for Platelet Recovery” Cellerant Therapeutics (San Carlos, CA) on September 9, 2011.
